// ELECTRICIAN WEBSITES

Websites for electricians that turn searches into calls

A website for electricians has two jobs: get the fault caller to tap your number first, and give the switchboard quote enough proof to pick you. Your licence is on show and every enquiry goes straight to your job software. From $2,800 + GST.

// TWO KINDS OF VISITOR

Fault pages and quote pages are built differently

Most electrical websites use one layout for everything. The person with no power and the person comparing EV chargers want opposite things from the same screen.

Fault visitor

No power, tripping switch, burning smell

On a phone, often in a dark house. They want a number, proof you are licensed, and a sign you cover their suburb. The page puts the call button first and keeps the words short, and on a phone Call Now stays pinned to the bottom of the screen.

Quote visitor

Switchboard upgrade, EV charger, solar, rewire

Comparing three or four electricians over a week or two. They read what the job involves, look at photos of your own work and want a short quote form that asks the right questions. If they head for the close button, a three field form offers a fixed price before they go.

The same split decides how the pages rank. More on that in SEO for electricians.

// WHAT WE BUILD IN

What an electrician's website needs that other trades skip

Electrical work is licensed, safety-critical and often urgent. Customers check more before they let someone near their switchboard, so the site has to answer those checks up front.

Service areas sit in the main menu. Hover Areas and the suburbs the business covers open in one panel, with the phone number beside them.

The Areas menu on Joondalup Electrical, built by us.

Licence and compliance on show

Your electrical contractor licence number and the state that issued it, in the footer and on the contact page. Insurance stated in plain words. Compliance work such as safety switches and smoke alarms explained accurately.

An emergency call button that tells the truth

Tap-to-call on every fault page, at thumb height. Real after-hours details next to it. If you do not take 2am calls, the page says so instead of promising 24/7.

Call-out fee published

If you charge a call-out fee, the page states it. Customers who have read the price before they ring are easier calls to take.

A page per job

Switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, solar and batteries, rewiring, safety switches, lighting. Each one is a different search with a different buyer, so each gets its own page.

The suburbs you actually service

Named service areas, so a customer forty minutes away knows to call someone closer. Suburb pages only where you have something real to say about the work there.

Photos of your own boards

Before and after shots of your switchboards and installs, not a stock photo of a multimeter. It is the fastest trust signal an electrician has.

Electrical & Air Conditioning · Joondalup, WA

Built the way electrical work is searched

The old site was four WordPress pages with a stock multimeter photo and no page for switchboard upgrades, the job the owner most wanted. The new build gives faults and emergency calls their own pages with the phone in reach, and planned work a page each: switchboards, air conditioning, EV chargers, RCDs, smoke alarms and rewiring. The licence, insurance and 10 year workmanship guarantee sit on the page as trust signals. The call-out fee is published. Sixteen suburb pages cover the area the business services, and every old URL still works.

// FROM ENQUIRY TO QUOTE

Enquiries that land in ServiceM8 or Tradify, not your inbox

Most electricians already run jobs in ServiceM8 or Tradify. The website should feed that system, so a quote request turns into a job without anyone retyping it at night. Every enquiry also carries where it came from, and every form sent and number tapped is counted in Google Analytics, so you can see which pages bring in work.

The enquiry uses sample values; its fields are the ones our forms add to every lead. Below it, the real Tag Manager setup on a client site.
01

The quote form asks the right things

Job type, suburb and a short description of the job. That is enough to sort fault calls from quotes and to call back with the right questions.

02

The enquiry becomes a job

Instead of retyping an email, the enquiry lands in your job software. GoHighLevel leads can become ServiceM8 jobs or Tradify enquiries automatically.

03

Missed calls get a text back

If you are on the tools and miss a fault call, the caller gets an SMS from your number straight away, before they ring the next sparky.

04

Quotes get followed up

Timed reminders chase every quote that goes quiet, so a switchboard quote does not die in someone’s inbox.

Each piece is optional and priced on its own: ServiceM8 GoHighLevel integration, Tradify GoHighLevel integration, missed call text back and quote follow-up. Still choosing job software? Read our job management software for electricians rundown.

// PRICE & AFTERWARDS

One fixed price, then we look after it

A full electrical website starts at $2,800 + GST, with a page per service, hosting and care included. A single landing page for Google Ads is $1,500 + GST. What drives the number, and what other options cost, is on what a tradie website costs and our pricing page.

  • We host it and keep it fast, patched and backed up.
  • You own the site, the copy and the domain.
  • No lock-in contract.
  • New service, new suburb, new licence details: we update it.

Not an electrician? The same build for every trade is on websites for tradies, and the plumbing version is websites for plumbers.

Get in touch
How much does a website for electricians cost?

A full electrical website starts from $2,800 + GST, with a page per service, hosting and ongoing care included. A single landing page for Google Ads is $1,500 + GST. You get one fixed price before any work starts.

Should my electrical licence number be on my website?

Yes. Put it somewhere a customer can find it without hunting, usually the footer and the contact page, with the state that issued it. Customers pricing bigger jobs such as switchboard upgrades do check. Your state regulator also has rules on how licence details appear in advertising, so confirm those with them.

Do I need separate pages for EV chargers, solar and switchboards?

For the jobs you want more of, yes. Someone pricing an EV charger and someone with a tripping safety switch are different customers asking different questions. A page each lets you answer both properly and gives Google something specific to rank. Jobs you rarely do can stay as a section on a wider page.

Can website enquiries go straight into ServiceM8 or Tradify?

Yes. We connect enquiries through GoHighLevel so they become ServiceM8 jobs or Tradify enquiries without retyping. That integration is a separate fixed-price job from $1,800 + GST, and you can add it later.

Have you built a website for an electrician before?

Yes. Joondalup Electrical in Perth moved from a four page WordPress site to a 46 page build with us in 2026. The case study shows the before and after, the page structure and the local setup. It is too new for ranking or lead figures, so we do not publish any.

Do I own the website?

Yes. You own the site, the copy and the domain. There is no lock-in contract. If you leave, you take all of it with you.
