Video verification asks for three things
Google often asks a new profile for a video recording rather than a postcard. Its verification help page says the recording should show your location (outside signs, nearby businesses or a street sign), that the business is real (products, branded equipment, marketing materials or tools) and that you manage it (employee-only areas or non-sensitive business documents).
For a tradie working from a van, that means a clear plan before you press record. We write the shot list for your business, so the video shows what Google asks for the first time.

How much does Google Business Profile setup cost?
Our Google Business Profile setup and verification is a fixed $390 + GST. The listing itself is free: Google states that creating a Business Profile and listing your business on Google is free. What you pay for is the time to set it up properly and get it through verification.
How does Google Business Profile video verification work?
When Google asks for a video recording, you film a short clip that shows three things: where the business is (signage or a street sign), that the business is real (branded equipment, tools or marketing materials), and that you manage it (an employee-only area or non-sensitive business documents). How long does Google Business Profile verification take?
Google’s help docs say verification reviews take up to 5 business days, and some profiles are verified instantly. Google sets that timeframe, not us. We build the profile before you film, so the only wait is Google’s review.
Do I own the profile, or do you?
You do. The profile is created in your own Google account and we are added as a manager, which you can remove whenever you like. If an agency or a past staff member set up a profile you cannot get into, tell us and we will work out the right way to get it back.
What happens after setup?
Nothing you have to pay for. Plenty of trades keep a verified profile current themselves. If you would rather hand it over, profile management comes with our review system, $1,500 + GST setup then $497/month + GST. No lock-in either way.
