Around the plans: every tier is month to month with a 14-day free trial, SMS costs 20 cents a message, and an Instant Website add-on runs $19 a month. The add-on gets a basic page live fast; it is not the same job as a site built to rank for your trade and suburb. Check the model against your headcount: a five-person crew on Pro is about $260 a month ex GST before anyone creates a job.

Where Tradify falls short
- Lighter on forms, automation and add-ons than ServiceM8. In the threads we compiled, depth was the most common reason for switching away.
- Reporting sits in the $62 Plus plan, so the cheaper tiers run largely blind on job profitability.
- Per-user pricing multiplies with headcount: every seat adds $48 to $62 a month before a single job is created.
- New ownership. The Access Group, a UK group with around 80 acquisitions behind it, announced its acquisition of Tradify on 1 October 2024. Prices have held as at August 2026, but the no-lock-in posture is now the new owner’s call.
