Tradify review: an honest look for Australian tradies

This Tradify review covers Tradify, the AU and NZ job management software for tradies, not Tradeify, the US trading platform with a near-identical name that clogs half these search results. Below: verified AU pricing, what it does well, where it is thin, and who should pick it over ServiceM8.

// QUICK ANSWER

Is Tradify any good? The short verdict

Tradify is a well-built, fairly priced job management app that is easiest to recommend to sole traders and small crews, particularly on Android phones, and it is lighter on forms, automation and reporting than the deepest tools in its class.

// THE NUMBERS

Tradify pricing in Australia

Per user per month, ex GST, unlimited jobs on every plan. From Tradify's AU pricing page, checked 18 August 2026:

Plan Per user / month, ex GST What it adds
Lite $48 Job management, scheduling, quoting and invoicing, online payments, accounting sync.
Pro $52 Adds branding, recurring jobs, timesheets, health and safety forms, compliance certificates.
Plus $62 Adds the reporting suite, purchase orders, bulk invoicing, and the SmartRead and SmartWrite AI tools.
Custom Quoted All Plus features, priced by phone for larger teams.

Around the plans: every tier is month to month with a 14-day free trial, SMS costs 20 cents a message, and an Instant Website add-on runs $19 a month. The add-on gets a basic page live fast; it is not the same job as a site built to rank for your trade and suburb. Check the model against your headcount: a five-person crew on Pro is about $260 a month ex GST before anyone creates a job.

What Tradify does well

// WHERE IT'S THIN

Where Tradify falls short

// WHO IT SUITS

Who should pick Tradify

Pick it when

  • You are a sole trader or small crew and want quoting and invoicing working this week, not after a setup project.
  • Your phones are mixed or Android. Tradify is the rare trade app where Android is not an afterthought.
  • You do high job volumes. Unlimited jobs on a flat per-user price suits volume.

Look elsewhere when

  • Your work is compliance-heavy and needs deep custom forms, checklists and automation on every job.
  • An office admin needs a seat. Per-user pricing bills them; ServiceM8’s per-job model includes unlimited users.
  • You run multiple crews on project work. The same threads point businesses that size toward Simpro or AroFlo.

// THE OBVIOUS COMPARISON

Tradify vs ServiceM8, in brief

The structural difference is the pricing model. Tradify charges per user with unlimited jobs; ServiceM8 charges per job with unlimited users. So Tradify tends to win for sole traders doing high job volume, ServiceM8 for teams with an office admin who needs a free seat. Beyond price, ServiceM8 is deeper on forms and automation but assumes iPhones; Tradify is simpler and runs fully on Android. The full Reddit-sourced breakdown, every thread linked, is in our ServiceM8 vs Tradify comparison.

For transparency: Web Blend is a ServiceM8 partner and we build automations on the ServiceM8 platform, so we have a commercial interest on one side of this comparison. If Tradify's shape fits your business, buy Tradify; it is a good product.

Is Tradify the same as Tradeify?

No. Tradify is job management software for trade businesses, founded in New Zealand in 2013 and priced in AUD for Australian tradies. Tradeify is a US futures prop-trading platform. The names differ by one letter and Google mixes them; this review covers the tradie one only.

How much does Tradify cost in Australia?

As at August 2026, Tradify’s AU pricing page lists Lite at $48, Pro at $52 and Plus at $62 per user per month ex GST, all with unlimited jobs, month to month, SMS at 20 cents a message and a 14-day free trial.

Is Tradify any good?

Yes, within its lane. It is a well-built, fairly priced app that suits sole traders and small crews, runs full apps on iOS, Android and web, and publishes its pricing. It is lighter than ServiceM8 on forms, automation and reporting; that is the trade-off to weigh.

Does Tradify work on Android?
