Simpro alternatives priced without a sales call

Simpro alternatives split by pricing model: per-user apps that publish their prices, ServiceM8's per-job plans with unlimited staff, and quote-only suites, one of which has the same owner as Simpro. This page maps them honestly, including where our own interest sits.

Three pricing models, at a glance

The useful question is not which logo to pick. It is which billing shape fits how your business is staffed and how many jobs it runs.

Model How you pay Who it fits Examples
01 Per user, published pricing A monthly price per seat Small crews with high job volume Tradify, Fergus
02 Per job, unlimited staff Plans scale with jobs per month Teams where admins need seats too ServiceM8
03 Larger project suites Confirm the full contract and module costs Multi-crew commercial and project work Simpro, AroFlo

Still weighing Simpro itself? Simpro pricing holds what a quote covers, the contract terms and the Lightning mechanics, and the Simpro price increase guide covers what to check before any renewal. Down to two? Simpro vs ServiceM8 puts them side by side. This page is for when the quote, or the renewal letter, did not clear your margin.

// THE OPTIONS

The platforms, one honest line each

Prices checked on 24 September 2026. Tradify's published AU prices exclude GST; ServiceM8's include GST. Optional services and usage charges sit outside the base plans. Confirm the scope of your own quote.

Base-price sources: Tradify AU pricing, Fergus AU pricing and ServiceM8 AU pricing. Confirm current plans, GST and optional charges with the provider.

For scale: Simpro publishes no prices at all, so every comparison starts from your own quote. The one public number in the family is the Lightning platform move announced in May 2026 across Simpro, AroFlo and BigChange, quoted to existing customers as an uplift on their current contracts. The working is on our Simpro pricing page.

// READ BEFORE SWITCHING SIDEWAYS

The AroFlo detail most lists miss

Most alternative lists put AroFlo first, because it is the other Australian-grown suite with Simpro's depth. What they leave out is the ownership: Simpro Group owns AroFlo. The May 2026 Lightning announcement covers both platforms plus BigChange, and existing AroFlo customers were included in the upgrade offer. The official release priced it at a 15% uplift through 31 May 2026 and a 25% uplift after that launch promotion. The 15% figure is historical, so ask for the current terms before comparing contracts. AroFlo may fit your workflow, but it keeps you within the same group. More detail is in our AroFlo pricing breakdown.

// THE ORDER OF OPERATIONS

Before you switch anything

Whatever you move to, the sequence is the same. Get your data out first, while your login and your support entitlement are both alive. Run the export before the renewal conversation, not after it, so the decision is yours to make on your own timetable. Then trial the new platform on one crew for a fortnight before the whole business moves, because the switching cost in a trade business is retraining, not software.

Plain disclosure: Web Blend is a ServiceM8 partner and builds setups and automations on that platform, so we are not neutral about route two. The per-user platforms are on this page anyway, described fairly, with links that go to their own numbers. What a ServiceM8 build costs with us is published on our pricing page before you ask.

What is the closest like-for-like alternative to Simpro?

AroFlo is close in shape as a full suite for multi-crew work, with published per-user starting pricing. It is owned by Simpro Group, whose Lightning upgrade offer covered both products. Compare their current contracts and features. Tradify and Fergus offer per-user plans with published pricing, while ServiceM8 paid plans scale by job allowance and include unlimited staff.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Simpro?

There can be, depending on your team and requirements. Compare your Simpro quote with Tradify at $48 to $62 per user per month excluding GST, or ServiceM8 base plans from free to $349 a month including GST. ServiceM8 optional add-ons and extra usage can cost more. Use the same GST basis and required features for each quote. A large commercial operation may still need the project depth in a negotiated Simpro package.

Is AroFlo a real alternative to Simpro?

It is a different product under the same owner. Simpro Group owns AroFlo, and its May 2026 Lightning announcement covered Simpro, AroFlo and BigChange together. The stated upgrade uplift was 15% through 31 May 2026 and 25% after the launch promotion. Check your current quote and contract; switching products does not change the group you buy from.

Do I have to decide before my Simpro renewal?

Read your notice period and renewal terms before committing, and ask whether a proposed Lightning upgrade changes the price or contract term. Your existing agreement determines the deadline. Our Simpro price increase guide lists the questions to put in writing before renewal.
