Can I update my website myself after it is built?
// THE STRAIGHT ANSWER
The straight answer
Whether you can update your website yourself depends on how it was built. WordPress and builder sites like Wix give you an admin login to edit pages, at the cost of the updates, plugins and breakage that come with those platforms. Hand-coded sites like Web Blend’s do not have a client login. Instead, changes are made by us as part of the care included with every build.
In practice most business owners edit their site far less than they expect to, and a text change turned around the same day beats an admin panel nobody logs into. Before signing with any designer, ask two questions: who makes changes after launch, and what does each change cost.
