What this AI visibility checker measures
AI visibility has two parts. First, a website needs to be crawlable and understandable. Second, an answer engine needs enough independent evidence to mention or cite the business for a real query. This checker measures the first part and the public foundations that support the second.
Business identity
Checks structured data, business type, contact details, hours and linked profiles.
Page clarity
Checks the page title, description, main heading, readable copy and XML sitemap.
Independent evidence
Uses your answers about Google Business Profile, recent reviews and corroborating listings.
How the 100-point readiness score works
Nine website checks contribute 70 points. Your three business-profile answers contribute 30 points. We publish the weighting so the result is repeatable and you can see which changes will move it. These are Web Blend's diagnostic weights, not ranking or citation weights published by an AI platform.

Data handling: the checker sends the website URL to Web Blend's scan endpoint, which fetches the public homepage, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap files. If you request the optional clarity test, your name, email, score and checked URL are sent through Web3Forms. When that service is enabled, up to 5,000 characters of public homepage text are sent to Anthropic. See our privacy policy.

What is an AI visibility checker?
An AI visibility checker audits whether AI search systems can access and understand a website, or monitors whether a brand appears in live AI answers. This free tool provides the technical readiness audit.
Does a high score mean ChatGPT will recommend my business?
No. A high score means the website has strong technical foundations. Recommendations also depend on the query, location, independent sources, reputation and each platform's current index.
Does llms.txt improve AI or Google rankings?
There is no established ranking benefit. We report llms.txt as an optional publishing convention and give it no points. Useful content, crawlability and corroborating sources matter more.
Can I block AI training bots and still appear in AI search?
Often, yes. Search and training controls use different crawler tokens. This checker scores search access separately and does not penalise a publisher for blocking GPTBot, ClaudeBot or Google-Extended.
