Office staff: about 60 minutes
- Job cards and the Diary. Create a job card from a phone enquiry with the right client, site address and job description. See where every note, photo, email and SMS lands in the job Diary.
- Quoting. Build and send a quote from your own price list, then follow it through quote acceptance or remote signature so the job moves to Work Order.
- Scheduling on the Dispatch Board. Book jobs to the right technician, reschedule when the customer changes their mind and put more than one person on a job.
- Action Required and queues. Keep unscheduled work out of Action Required by sending it to a queue, such as quotes awaiting approval or parts on order, so nothing goes quiet.
- Invoicing. Check the labour and materials the tech recorded, produce the invoice and send it, then see how it syncs to your accounting package if one is connected.
