// WEB DESIGN FAQ
What does a web designer need from me?
// THE STRAIGHT ANSWER
The straight answer
A web designer needs five things from you before the build starts: what your business does and for whom, the services you want the site to sell, your logo and any brand assets, photos of your real work or team, and examples of sites you like and hate. Content is the one that stalls projects. If the designer writes your copy, you review it. If you write it, get it back fast, because the build waits on it.
At Web Blend we run this as one short call plus a checklist, then chase what is missing so the project keeps moving. You do not need a sitemap or a design brief. That is the designer’s job.
