Get website enquiries into ServiceM8 with the details your office needs.
Web Blend configures your enquiry or booking flow, connects the website
and tests what the customer and your team receive.
A leaking tap and a fixed-scope maintenance visit need different intake.
Choose the promise you can keep before putting a booking button on your website.
Simple Online Enquiry
Useful when you need to inspect the problem, clarify the work or agree a price first.
ServiceM8 sends the request to your Inbox. Staff review it and convert it into a job with the supplied details. Submitting the form does not reserve an appointment.
Useful for work you can describe, price and allow enough time to complete.
The Services add-on supports questions, pricing and scheduling rules. Depending on configuration, customers can choose an available time and book the service.
We check feature access and the selected booking type in your account before
agreeing the scope. Deposits, custom questions and scheduling are checked
against that flow. See ServiceM8's booking and payment features.
// EXAMPLE FLOW
A quote request, from website to job
An illustrative enquiry flow for a plumbing business. This shows the proposed
handoff; it is not a client result or a live booking demo.
Customer requests a quote
A website button opens the ServiceM8 enquiry form. The customer describes the leaking tap and adds a photo.
The office reviews it
The request reaches the Inbox. A staff member checks the address, reads the description and follows up on missing details.
Staff create the job
They convert the enquiry into a job and agree the next step with the customer. The website wording leaves that decision with the office.
Before your flow goes live, we run a test submission through your account
and check the resulting record with your team.
We configure the form and the website handoff
Start with the services you want to accept online, the area you cover
and who handles incoming work. We use those decisions to configure
the agreed flow and write customer-facing instructions.
ServiceM8's website button instructions
describe linking to its hosted form. That is the starting point for
your website. A custom form or a connection to another system is
scoped separately through our ServiceM8 automation service.
Prefer to set it up yourself? Use the official guides above, then
follow the testing checklist below before publishing your button.
What we agree before work starts
The service choices and customer details to collect.
For Services: pricing, duration, staff availability and approval rules that fit your account.
The website button, destination and confirmation wording.
Who receives requests, checks them and follows up.
The test cases and a handover showing your team how to manage the flow.
Check both sides of the booking
A form can look finished while the office misses the request. These checks
cover the customer screen and the record your team acts on.
A customer on a phone
Open the website button, complete the form and read the outcome on a small screen. Check the keyboard, address entry and any attachments.
Missing details or a second submission
Try incomplete input and repeat the same request. Check what reaches ServiceM8 and how staff recognise duplicates; do not assume they are blocked.
The customer and office handoff
Read the confirmation, inspect the Inbox or job card and check who is notified. Make sure a request is not described as a confirmed appointment.
A slot that should not be offered
For scheduled services, check staff eligibility, occupied times, duration and service-area rules. Test any approval or payment step agreed in scope.
Help with the account behind the button
Web Blend is a ServiceM8 Bronze Partner based in Darwin, working with
Australian trade and service businesses. If your services or staff
schedule need work first, we can include that in a
ServiceM8 setup quote.
Need checklists, site reports or PDF forms for staff on a job?
Those are covered by our ServiceM8 field forms service.
// COMMON QUESTIONS
Before we set it up
Send your website address and an example of the work customers should request or book. We can then confirm the access, scope and quote.
Yes. We can add a button linking to your ServiceM8-hosted form and check the customer journey from that page into ServiceM8. Send your website address so we can confirm editing access and the work involved. Custom website forms or API connections need a separate scope.
Will every enquiry automatically become a scheduled job?
No. Simple Online Enquiry sends a request to the ServiceM8 Inbox for your team to review and convert into a job. A Services booking form can offer scheduling when that service is configured for it. We agree which outcome customers should see before configuring the form.
Can customers pay a deposit when booking?
ServiceM8 documents payment options for Services booking flows. We check your selected service, account payment setup and applicable charges before including deposits in the scope. A Simple Online Enquiry form should not be sold as a checkout.
What does booking setup cost?
We quote after checking the number of services, pricing and scheduling rules, website access and the tests needed. ServiceM8 subscription and payment charges are separate. Tell us whether you need a quote request form or customers choosing a time so we can scope the right work.
Give customers a clear way to book
Tell us what you want customers to submit and what should happen next.
We will scope the ServiceM8 configuration, website changes and testing
before quoting the work.
