// FILED BY JOB
Find a job's files in one folder
Keep running jobs in ServiceM8. Choose the photos and documents you also want in OneDrive, filed by job number.
The example shows one possible structure. We check attachment access and your Microsoft account before confirming what can be copied.

// THE SETUP
Agree the behaviour before the build
A useful file workflow needs a clear answer for what happens when a job changes or a copy fails.
Choose the folder
You approve the destination account, folder names and who can see the files. Your Microsoft administrator confirms access.
Choose the files
We check sample photos and PDFs, then agree the trigger and timing. New jobs and historical jobs are scoped separately.
Handle interruptions
The plan covers duplicate names, repeat runs, retries and failed copies. We name the person who receives errors and who resolves them.
Check a sample job
Before handover, you check the copied files open in the right folder. We test repeat runs and access failures against the agreed scope.
// SETUP COST
File workflows from $1,800 + GST
That is the starting setup price in our automation service. Your OneDrive quote depends on the files, account access and workflow. Ongoing software and support costs are confirmed in the scope.
Send us your current filing process, a sample folder structure and which Microsoft account your business uses. We will check the fit and quote the agreed build. Keep passwords and customer files out of your initial enquiry.
// COMMON QUESTIONS
What fits this workflow?
Tell us where your team stores files now and what you want copied out of ServiceM8.
Scope my file workflowDoes the ServiceM8 Office 365 integration save job files to OneDrive?
The documented Office 365 add-on sends ServiceM8 emails through your connected email account. A workflow that copies job photos and PDFs into OneDrive needs its own setup.
Can you use our SharePoint or Teams document library?
Tell us which library your team uses. SharePoint permissions, ownership and folder rules need a separate scope. A OneDrive quote does not automatically include a SharePoint or Teams library.
Will changes and deletions sync both ways?
The starting scope is copying selected files from ServiceM8 into OneDrive. Two-way updates, deletion handling and real-time delivery are separate requirements to assess. We agree how renamed, replaced and late-added files should behave before building.
Can you copy our old jobs as well?
Historical jobs need a separate backfill plan, including the date range, attachment access and storage needed. A copy of selected job files is not a complete ServiceM8 backup or a replacement for a tested recovery plan.
// PLATFORM DETAILS
Check the connection you need
ServiceM8 documents access to job attachments, and Microsoft documents file uploads and permissions. Those capabilities need a configured workflow to work together.
For sending emails from your own address, follow ServiceM8's Office 365 email guide. If your team uses Google Drive for job records, see our ServiceM8 Google Drive integration.
